Meditation allows the body to de-stress and enter a world of inner peace. It’s one of the best tools we have to balance our emotions, deal with physical and psychological distress, and promote the peace of the present moment. It can be difficult to meditate without a teacher or guide. Meditating on your own requires some effort, whereas, a guided meditation will walk you through a meditation and help you find a calm and peaceful state.
We start the meditation by relaxing your state of being. This is usually achieved by focusing your thoughts on your breath and scanning your body for tense muscles and areas holding stress. With just a little practice you can very quickly achieve a very relaxed state of being. Then you are taken on a journey in your imagination. This is the easiest form of meditation as the mind has less chance to wander on to real-world thoughts of chores, work and loved ones. The whole process takes between 45 minutes and an hour.
